Halloween
Sandy dressed up as a chicken this year. We went to a Halloween party at the local community center a week before, a trunk or treat at our ward the night before, and grilled hot dogs in our driveway Halloween night. It was a fun Halloween season! Bill and I dressed up as farmers to corral our little chicken, but I didn't manage to get a picture of the three of us.
Sandy experienced trick or treating for the first time at the ward trunk or treat. We went to the first car, they gave her a candy bar, and she immediately pulled it out of her bucket and handed it to me to open. She did the same thing at the second car and I was ready to call it quits but somehow at the third car it clicked and she got the concept of holding out her bucket and leaving the candy inside.

Really cute costume! What a great idea to be farmers with a chicken! I was wondering what you would do since you always have really creative and cute Halloween costumes.
We've had the opposite problem with Lilly this year. After Halloween, all she's wanted to do is hold her candy basket and gloat over her goods, but she can't decide and choose just one piece to eat,she wants all or nothing. This seems fine at first, letting her hold it and count it and all, but the moment you walk away you know she's going to unwrap and moisten three suckers at once. And then if you take the rest away she has a meltdown. It's been a bit dramatic around here.
