Abby is 2 months old today! I took her to the doctor on Tuesday and she is 10 pounds, 10 ounces. I took her to the doctor because her belly button opened back up. The doctor resealed it with silver nitrate. Unfortunately, that means I can't bath her until we are sure it is closed back up and it is hard to get her really clean with sponge baths. I'll be glad when I can give her a real bath again!
Well, this is kind of a dopey grin, but it is the latest in our attempts to get a picture of her smiling. Really, she smiles. She has a beautiful smile and she smiles a lot, just not when the camera is out.
And, of course, any time the camera is out Sandy wants to be in the pictures. She loves to hold Abby, too, and the only time she gets to is briefly for pictures.
Happy 2 months, Abby! We are so happy to have you as part of our family!
