We have had a lot going on at our house lately and I haven't been able to keep up with the blogs. Mine or reading the others that I follow. But, I have some time this morning so I'm going to share the three biggest things going on with our family right now.
First, we have an announcement. We are expecting Baby #2, and my due date is May 2.
Second, Bill was laid off September 10. It was quite a shock since he had worked for the company for 10 years. But it seems like things are working out. He has had a few customers track him down to find out where he had gone and ask if he would contract for them directly. So he filed paperwork to start his own business last week and we are excited about the possibilities. He also has two promising interviews on Monday, and so we'll have to weigh those options, but I think we are both leaning toward the new business.
Finally, I am on bed rest--at least for this weekend. I went to the ER last night because of some heavy bleeding. An ultrasound showed the baby's heart is still beating normally and the cervix is still closed. The ER doctor diagnosed it as a threatened miscarriage and sent me home with orders to stay in bed until I can get in to see my OB next week.
So it has been an eventful month at our house.

Congrats on the baby news! I hope that everything goes well and that things get better after a weekend of resting. I hope the job opportunites work out for Bill as well :)
I have been wanting to congratulate you on the baby news since Bill told Kelly on the phone, but I didn't want to be the one to post it on your blog for you! :) So, now that it's official, congratulations!!! I hope everything goes okay and you can get off bed rest soon. What a blessing that Bill is home while you're in bed, though. Keep us posted. I love May babies. I'm very happy for you.
Congratulations on the baby! I hope that you can get off of bed rest soon...it's hard to take it easy when you already have a child. I hope things go well with Bill and job opportunities too it seems crazy to me that his company would be nuts enough to let him go when he's so good at what he does! I'm thinking it will be a blessing in disguise so maybe he can be happier with his carrier! I hope things all work out well. I miss you all! Christian keeps "calling" Sandy on his phone and says we need to go see his cousins so maybe I'll venture down by myself sometime this fall (besides that fact that I really would like to see some mountains and fall leaves). Love ya!
Yea, congratulations! That is exciting news.
Congratulations! I hope that things start getting better for you. You are in our prayers.
Let us know if you need anything!
